We all talked about this last season. It didn't happen. It won't happen this year either. The Pirates have average young players, Andrew McCutchen is their only real all-star. The Pirates will fade. I doubt they'll even break their losing season streak.

Weren't we talking about them last year, just like this, around this time? I seriously don't see them making a run at the playoffs. If you get almost no-hit by Justin Verlander, you kinda don't deserve to be in the postseason. :P

Dude, getting all the way no-hit by JV doesn't mean you shouldn't be in the postseason! Verla der could probably no-hit Murderers Row. No hitters are mostly luck anyway. A lot of potchers will say that their no hitters weren't the best outing (stuff wise) of theor career. Still, the Pirates won't make the playoffs.

You know what guys, I have been watching Andrew McCutchen for a long time. He is starting to grow on me. The team really looks good when he is playing good.
