Featured article: Created Characters

Created Characters are players that successfully complete Success Mode and join the AAA team of their favorite MLB team.

Created players then become available for use in the other game modes by either being on the Major League team or being a part of an Arranged Team created in Arrange mode or Season mode.

Many of these characters are created as substitute superstars on Season mode teams to keep owner costs down, but still have a player as strong as the expensive alternative. However, as MLB Power Pros does not have an online mode to update rosters, many are creating real life players to match the new up and coming rookies or to revive baseball greats from baseball history.

Featured Custom Player: Rickey Henderson (1990s)

Rickey Henley Henderson (born December 25, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois) is a former Major League Baseball outfielder who is baseball's all-time leader in stolen bases and runs scored. In a 25-year career with nine clubs, Henderson's high on-base percentage, power, runs scored, and stolen base totals made him the premier leadoff hitter of his era; many consider him the best ever.1

KingCobretti most likely intends for Henderson to be in his second stint with the Oakland Athletics in the 1990s. Henderson is an established power hitter and has hit numerous lead-off home runs. His maxed out run speed and aggressive stealer and runner abilities asserts Henderson as one of the top base stealers in the game.
