I can verify the Lvl 4 2SFB. I drafted one last night. He came from the standard line of extreme breaking ball pitchers (80 CTRL, 60 STAM, crazy breakers) and came with a Lvl 6 FORK, 6 CB, 5 SLD and 4 KNCB, along with the Lvl 4 2SFB. The pitch appears to be Lvl 3 until you use an interface that displays numbers instead of arrows for the breaking pitches (i.e. breaking ball practice). He's pretty rediculous. He's a sidearmer with a weak fastball, so the 2SFB looks more like a CHG but hitters can only beat the pitch into the ground when they make contact. In the very first game after the draft, he started and threw 5 perfect innings (All-Star mode) against the Angels before tiring out. He struck out 5 or 6 batters and the ball never left the infield.

Wow! I wonder why they didn't just make the pitch go to level 4, but then just make it rare. Or is that what this is?

I want to draft one of these guys! I wonder if you can do it in Success Mode...

So now this begs two questions:

1. Can it be upgraded past 4?
2. Could hex editing do that anyway?
