I started a character out with pr sense and good stats. I found Goodjob at the start of my second year, and after my second visit, he change my pr sense hitter into a good sense hitter.

Unreal really because Im now running out of things to put points in......

What option did you choose to lose the Poor Sense? "I want to get stronger"?

I'm sorry scratch that, it was I want to remove one of my weakness.

Great pitcher guide by the way, I'm just worried that there is going to be no way possible to keep these uber characters on the same team given the salary cap.

Ah the joys of working it out though. Seems like the expansion mode is really right up my alley.

I'll keep this in mind as there could be other possibilities with the other choices that haven't been discovered yet. For pitchers I go with good sense guys, so I probably won't use this, but for my fielder that I still have to create it will be very useful.

Ah so that's what that choice was for. Did it seem like it had a 100% success rate?

I have tried that with Goodjob and got nothing. It seems that sometimes his treatments fail.

I guess not, it was only the first time I tried.

Also the problem I see with it may it be minor is that sometimes he doesn't appear for months after the first visit. So it's not like you can count on him, but I will take it.

FYI "I want to get stronger" will give you a significant stat boost if successful. The drawback is if it fails you get a stat downgrade, lose all exp points and become injury prone (durability 2).

In Japanese versions of Power Pros a successful stat boost operation often added Good Sense as a further bonus, hence my first question.

I've yet to run into the Doc with a Poor Sense character, so I don't know if its the same for MLB PP.

I just succeeded in my second "I want to get stronger" operation; unfortunately I didn't have a Challenge again so I went with the low risk low-return one.

It gave me +20 power and +1 run speed.

When I met him and chose "I want to be stronger" I had to use a "Yes" card. All he gave was exp points in every category (Str, Quickness, etc.) and some vitality. I was pretty disappointed.

If you challenge successfully, what happens?

What other treatment option are there?
- what do they do?
- which is the best for a good player?

You should always use the "I want to be stronger option" I believe he increases all stats by 1, power by 20 or so, gives you points in every category, and gets rid of poor sense. Mrsims, you might have only gotten points because you already had every category maxed out or you needed to have played a challenge card.

Can he only be visited for a treatment once?

I assume the challenge card is for the second meeting at his place, because if I use it the first time, instead of getting his address, my guy just recovers to full vitality - which wouldn't have been bad if my guy was in the week before the Superstar Game.

I think so as I have never gotten to visit him more than once and yes the challenge card is for when you go to his house.
