most of the ppl on the forum dont so id say it's uncommon.

also march is the first month of spring, spring is the start of baseball season.

I played at my old school. Started 23 games in left field my junior year and hit .210 with 5 home runs, but I didn't want to play at the school I transferred to after moving to ATL even though it was senior year.

ya!!!!! i play catcehr for my ymca team calld the longhorns!! and i play outfield sometimes and i pitchd once but im not very good at pitching

I'm not sure if you should try immediately, if you think you might have post-concussion syndrome, that's a pretty serious thing, wouldn't want to risk getting messed up even worse. If you get it checked out and it turns out to be nothing, by all means I think you should try out.

my baseball career since this post:

-- broke arm 4 weeks later, missed entire junior season (1 AB, 1 K)
-- slowly but surely recovered, started working hard over the summer (weekly lessons with a coach working on pitching and hitting)
-- eventually progressed to where my coach was telling me I could probably go play at a D-3 school
-- stopped lessons about halfway through basketball season because of weird practice schedules
-- made varsity only because I'm a senior and our school has a no-cut policy (3 other seniors who made the team for this reason quit just a few weeks into the season)
-- played in 1 varsity game and 3 JV games. got to pitch in a game for first time since 6th grade. results were ugly but coaches gave positive reviews
-- started doing lessons again, planning to either try to walk-on or play club baseball at IU depending on my progress

so I basically went in a 16-month circle and ended up generally more confident but also at the same place

FACT: Kevin plays the only position that I can't, and is honestly pretty good at it (esp. for a 9-year-old with 0 experience coming into this season)
