Forum rules

Requests:
These rules are subject to change at any time. Remember, custom players take time to make just right.

* One player request per person at a time. No exceptions. Post ALL of the required information (name, position, appearance) and as much desired info as possible (desired abilities, stat levels).
* When your request is fulfilled, edit the title of the first post to say so. Make a link to the post if the completion post is deep in the thread.
* Wait a week before bumping an un-answered request. The few of us who are kind enough to offer our services are more than likely busy with other requests or our own players.

I am doing this to log the need for this real-life player. I will most likely complete it myself.

scouting report 1:
http://www.saberscouting.com/2008/04/04 ... lloreport/
scouting report 2:
http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/minorleagues/pro ... pid=519144

skin: normal caucasian
hair: close-cropped/military
#48
age: 19 (DOB December 27, 1988)
Starting Pitcher, Tigers
Bats/throws: R/R

top Speed: 97
Control: 135-145
Stamina: 160? (170 innings, so its good, but not complete-game good)

pitches:
2sfb: 2
slurve: 1 (some scouting reports refer to it as a slider - it's a weak lateral movement pitch)
change: 4
Curve: 2 (possibly slow curve? drop curve? I'm open)

abilities:
fastball life
poise (anything like it)
I'm sure a few others will be unaviodable

Extra points:
contact - the guy drove in 2 in his first interleague game! he's got contact.

This gives him realistic circa-2008 stats, and allows him to improve and join the big league club.

If anyone wants to work on this, let me know, I havent played PP in a looong time and found one character in mid-May of the first year...

a lot more data on Porcello here:

I may make the 2sfb a 2 or 3, and i might go for slider instead of slurve. who knows...

rolling him up now

I failed my last gamble to get Fastball Life 4, but Porcello is still pretty good.

I left his stamina lower, due to the scouting reports, and how his velocity drops off in the later innings. The slider is an original pitch, with extra break. The 2-seamer is at just level 2, but that and the level-2 curve, along with the level 4 change, are enough to make him worthwhile.
