These are my thoughts:

Trajectory 3
Contact 8-9
Power 142-150
Speed 8-9
Arm Strength 12
Fielding 11
Error Resistance 5-6

Clutch 4 - Yes, BA W/RISP was .299 in 2014, and in 2013 it was .336
Firstball Hitter - Yes, 29 for 77 (.377) in 2014
Barehanded Catch - Yes, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSFfFzhcmhc
Hot Hitter - I say yes, trying to compensate for not giving him Power/Contact Hitter or boosting his Power/Contact

Spray Hitter - I looked at his spray charts, I know we don't a system for it but his hits look scattered http://www.fangraphs.com/spraycharts.aspx?playerid=5038&position=3B&type=battedball&pid2=5038&ss1=2014&se1=2014&ss2=2014&se2=2014&cht1=hittype&cht2=battedball&vs1=ALL&vs2=ALL
Vs Lefty 4 - I'm going back and forth with this one, .307 BA in last two seasons against lefties

I'm only uncertain about Vs Lefty 4 and Spray Hitter, feedback is appreciated!

Fielding should definitely be a B, I would probably go for 13

I could bump it up, just waiting on some more feedback; thanks though!

I'd say fielding should be somewhere between a C and B, and I'd keep E-RES at a low E. That's really all I've got.

Throwing 2; nearly all his errors are throwing related
Error prone; whilst his R/F and UZR are positive he has a high amount of errors
Vs lefty 4
Pt hitter
Hot hitter
Clutch 4

My $0.02

3B main position, but C as a secondary (398 of his 495 career minor league games were as catcher, so he's another Pablo Sandoval/Carlos Santana type)
If you have extra points and want to go for 1B as a tertiary position, thats cool with me.

CON 7 would be right (.259 career avg vs righties) and then Vs Lefty 4 or even 5. I'd stick with 7 and give him blues (see below)
PWR 131-139 (.190 ISO, 3.7% HR rate)
SPD 9, or 8 plus Stealing 4. Check out his SBs - 8 last season, never caught. 17 on his career, caught only 3 times!!
ARM 12 is good - his MLB CS rate is a small sample (33%), but 38% career in the minors, so he can do it. Consider 13 if you get Throwing 2.
FLD 11-13 somewhere, everything's positive sabr-wise and on B-R, I'm okay with 12 or 13
E RES D-E. He's just a hair below league average for his career (.954 career fldg % at 3B, league average is .956)

Blues I would go for:
Vs Lefty 4 is a MUST. If you can get 5, great! lol
Patient Hitter (OBP 80-90 points higher than batting avg)
First Pitch (.381 avg on the first pitch!!!!)
Clutch 4 I can agree with, good numbers with RISP and men on
Hot Hitter can offset the contact of 7, sure

Final:

To be honest, I just want to stick with 3B for him. Only played 10 games at catcher in his career, and his last game there was in 2012.

Trajectory 3
Contact 7
Power 140 (just wanna bump it up to a B :) )
Speed 9
Arm Strength 12
Fielding 13
Error Resistance 7

Clutch 4
Vs Lefty 4
Firstball Hitter
Barehanded Catch
Hot Hitter

Patient Hitter - I guess I could try for this, not certain when I have the option to "wait a little longer" after Ben collapses.
Don't know how to get Throwing 2 though

With waiting a bit longer on Pattys arc if you wait 1-7 times you have a chance of rally hitter.
If you wait 7-10 times patient hitter
8 and more cautious steal
Waiting 7-9 times yields the best chance of getting all 3 abilities in one go.
(Note these are from my experience and you will need to save load to get these).

For pt hitter I'd choose to wait 8 or 9 times which should get you pt hitter.

Throwing 2, you need the TV thief. Choose the right direction but you need to hope your player misses the thief. It will take a bit of save loading though, sometimes I've taken an 1 hour to get it.

After Xmas and giving patty a present, if you visit ducks he'll
Go to the bank, next time choose date; mountains; try harder; economics. Next choose date and go to park. Next time Ben will collapse.

By the time the thief came, I already had 12 in arm strength so I would catch the thief 9/10 times. And Rob mentioned it took him a hour or so to get Throwing 2. At the rate I had, I would be sitting here all day. And I also didn't have enough time to get Patient hitter from Patty. I did get Clutch Hitter 5, so not a total loss.
