Next on my list is a rookie from last season, Erik Goeddel. He was a September call-up who wasn't used often, but if I made Dario Alvarez, this guy should be made. Fortunately, there was an great scouting report of him on ESPN before the season.
"Goeddel's fastball velocity -- generally in the 89-92 mph range as a starter -- should benefit in relief. Goeddel also has a slider (80-83 mph), curveball (73-78 mph) and changeup (77-80 mph). " Also, this from UCLA: "He fired a blistering four-seam fastball that sat in the 93-94 mph range and peaked at 95. Goeddel added a harsh 86 slider."
That gives me good insight on his pitches. I'm thinking top speed 93, as that's the highest I've seen him throw in the Majors. I'm thinking his control should be High E, and Stamina should be High D to low C. He was converted from a starter to reliever in Spring Training. Any blue abilities? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

So with pitchers, I usually start at Fangraphs PITCH F/X. That gives me their top speed easily - for Goeddel that's a solid 95 :http://www.fangraphs.com/pitchfx.aspx?playerid=11712&position=P

Having a top speed of 95 means that he will routinely hit 92-93. Remember that the game has 'poor form' and will only let you hit your top speed when in great form, etc. So having the top speed reflect the Fangraphs top MPH recorded works out well.

It also leads you into their other pitchers pretty easily - although only the Curveball and Changeup have seem MLB action. You can see that the CB averages 75mph, a 20mph drop from his fastball. So I would start with the normal CB, and then if it's coming in too fast (79-81mph) then change it to a Slow Curveball (SCB).

Under Batter Ball and Movement you can actually see the horizontal and vertical movement for each pitch. The CHG isn't much, mayeb 1-3, but the CB has decent movement and might be level 3.

From his minor league stats I'm going with
CTRL 100 (3.6 BB/9)
STAM 133 (he was a starter for the past few years, averaging 5.3 IP per start. If you ignore that, then he's a 2 inning guy in relief, so still 70 range at a minimum)

I don't see enough info to tell reds or blues...but since he's a righty, avoid Vs Lefty 4!
