After doing a few fielders, I need to get back to pitching...and the closers I have on tap won't do it. So let's try Morton!

where to start...well, Morton debuted in 2008, on 6/14/08, and has thrown 741.2 major league innings since then, mostly for the Pirates. That's certainly enough to warrant his creation - as a 2008 Brave, since that's where he was as of opening day 2008.

So the normal sources go first:

Top speed 94
Control 131
Stamina 127

2SFB 1
H-Slider 2
DCB 5
Split 2

WRISP 2
Release 2
Fat Pitch
Spin 4
Gd low pitch

So let's link those together, and get:
top speed 94-96
cont 117-131
stam 123-131
no agreement on pitches, ugh wow guys
SIFB or 2SFB 1
CB or DCB 4-5
CHG or SPLT 1-2
SLV or H-SLD 2
w/RISP 2
possibly Release 2...but then possibly Gd Pickoff...wow you PS2 guys could really use a huddle, haha
what...one has fat pitch, one has safe pitch?? ugh
LOL and one has spin 2, one has spin 4...nice. 3 strikes gents!
possibly any of Recovery 4, Gd Low Pitch, Groundball P

so consulting wikipedia and Fangraphs, I see
95 is a good top speed
walk rate 3.47 per 9, not too bad, average ish. K rate is OK, 6.18 per 9, also average. so yeah D, at best C control
5.5 IP average...so barely into the 6th, wow. Thats very low B stamina territory
he's mainly a 2-seam or sinker, with curve on the side pitcher...so H-SNK and CB make sense
he changed the Changeup to a Splitter in 2011...ugh, either way im just doing 1-2
he previously threw a Slider and Cutter, albeit rarely...might do both but leave them at 1
Definite Groundball P - 55% lifetime rate
LOB% (strand rate) is 67.8% lifetime, so yeah RISP/2 makes sense
and my favorite - AVOID VS LEFTY 4, since Lefties tee off over .300 against him. Challenge accepted!

Please add to the discussion if you want to weigh in on Charlie!

35-61 lifetime despite a decent 4 era - yep, unlucky it is...any ways to get it aside from patty dating?

I've gotten it through two other means. One was through a random event at the beginning of success where Marvin gives you a lucky jewel, you can get lucky if you accept but if you turn it down then you have a chance at unlucky. You will need to save load as it's not the only red ability I've gotten. The second is the baseball match where Marvin has tickets. Just accep and when at the game let the ball hit you or let it go, I can't remember exactly but it is one of those.

**edit - sorry for the bump, had to replace pics with smaller versions and i could just delete them for some reason...

Well this was a disaster. Tried the Marvin ticket thing several times but no unlucky. It took me a lot of S/L and a Goodjob visit to get through this one. Please tip your waitress
