Posting:

* Individual players should be in their own thread, with the full name of the player and position(s) in the title. Don't add superlatives or any other shout outs to it... we will see your guys...
* If you post a team or a set of players, add players by editing your starting post so they're all in the same post. A bump to announce the edit is appropriate.
* Posting images are fine, provided they are small in dimension and data. 800x600 and ~50Kb should be the biggest you can post inline (using the [IMG] tag), anything larger, post a link or a clickable thumbnail instead.
* If you have wiki rights, add your player(s) and team(s) there as well!

DOB: 3/1/82 (age 25/26 at beginning of 2008 season)
#35
b/t: switch/r
Contact: F/G. This guy lives in the .220/.230 range.
Power: E/D, decent. 8 homers in about 60 games total.
Speed: F, none.
Arm: C/B. Powell is pretty deadly, having caught around 50% of runners. Its a small sample size, but eh.
Fielding: D/C. Powell is the best defensive catcher in the A's system, and gives Suzuki a run.
E Res: E/D. Allows a few wild pitches and such.

1B second position
good block
good catcher

Powell is a backup, and is here for his fielding and working with pitchers. He's Oakland's cheap backup. I only realized when reviewing their rosters that Rob Bowen was the last cheap backup, from 2008, and he retired after 2008. If these A's catchers weren't on the A's, they wouldn't be in the MLB.

On the other hand, he is highly regarded for defense, catching Dallas Braden's perfect game. He is a possibility for good catcher and good block.

thoughts?

Done. Moved on to Chase Headley, about halfway through him now.

Even though I don't own a Wii, I quite enjoy the players your making Alloutwar. Seems very much like Powell. Plus, Powell is a Gamecock Alum like my Mom, so that makes him all that better

Much appreciated, LightningMan!

I hope you download and use Rob Hallett''s players now and then too, he's produced so many.
