* If you post a team or a set of players, add players by editing your starting post so they're all in the same post. A bump to announce the edit is appropriate.
* Posting images are fine, provided they are small in dimension and data. 800x600 and ~50Kb should be the biggest you can post inline (using the [IMG] tag), anything larger, post a link or a clickable thumbnail instead.

Alrighty, while I'm working on Taylor Teagarden for Alloutwar, I'm posting this about Justin SMoak, whom I'll work on next.
He looks like the classic Three True Outcomes hitters (HR, K, BB), and seems to be a pretty average fielder.
I'll aim for these stats:

CON - E+, Maybe D?
POW - B, around 145-150? Still not fully developed.
RUN SPD - F+, maybe E? He's a first baseman, not Eric Young Jr.
ARM STR - D+
FLD - D+, C?
E RES - C+, he looks like he doesn't make too many mistakes.
As for abilities... I got nothing. You guys are gonna have to help me here.

This will be my first real player, so bare with me. :D

If you want I can post my Justin Smoak. He's a little different only because mine was prior to him coming up to the majors but it is very close to yours only diff is his power that I had him at 142. I also have many others that you guys may embark on like the A's rotation, rangers players and many more.

I've heard that Smoak plays horrible defense, definitely go below a D average. At least an E, maybe an F.

A side note, he just got traded to the Mariners a couple of days ago in the Lee deal, you may want to change his team

I know that. But when Alloutwar PM'ed me, he wanted Smoak on the Rangers I believe, or maybe just didn't edit the order of his list.

Yeah, I always put players on the team they were on in 2008. Since the game starts in 2008. I'm not interested in replicating current rosters or the current MLB teams (but others can do that if they wish).

That's backwards. The majority of scout's compare Smoak's defense to 3-time Gold Glove winner Mark Teixeira. In pother words, Smoak has above average range for the position, great hands, and an accurate arm. By no means am I suggesting Smoak should be a Teixeira clone right out of the box, but his defense is already above average for a 1B.
