Gathering info on this guy next. I won't start him until the weekend, so if anyone else wants to, please jump in.

Teagarden is one of the highly ranked Rangers catcher prospects, but so far he's underperformed with the bat.

I'll take him up, as we discussed.
Going to aim for 5 CON, 135 POW, E SPD (he's marginally faster than Smoak, according to fangraphs), and the C's in fielding. Timely Whiff looks very important, gonna have to figure out how to get that one. Maybe just whiffing at every pitch I see? :P

here's the advice I gave dishnet:

Most surefire way is to have your player done by April of the second year, except for Timely Whiff and a few power points of something.

for the last 2-3 games, EVERY at-bat, you need to strikeout swinging while you have power swing on. After 9 or 10 strikeout at-bats, you get timely whiff.

That makes sense. And, looking at his K rate in real life, very realistic. :P

Another way to get timely whiff which is what I had to use when doing a player with low stats. Date Patty at the mountain (for hitters) if you miss catching any fish you have a chance at timely whiff. You may have to save load which is the only catch
