Don't know how long I'll keep up with this, but here goes...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The San Antonio Sharks and the Honolulu Tropics were announced today as being the two newest expansion franchises in Major League baseball. Not a lot of details about the Tropics are known, other than they are in the AL West, but the Sharks, who are in the AL Central, who now have 6 teams, have announced what their roster looks like for the upcoming season, and their abilities...

So, that's my team. Should I post my AAA roster as well? Let me know, and I hope this log will get some views and follows.

You mean I'm not the only one who gives first names to randomly generated players? :o

Holy hell Mikami looks amazing for a greybar. Lorraine being a gold glove shortstop is pretty cool too. Is the other expansion team just standard greybars?

I think you should post your AAA team, just so we can see it.

Yep, you're not the only one. Most of the names came off the top of my head, in all honesty.

Mikami was an amazing find, and I'm actually having a bit of trouble deciding who to start at SS between Lorraine and Bullard. Anyone have any opinions on it?

Yes, the other team is standard grey-bar players. And, I'll post the AAA team soon, as well.

Bullard seems like a pretty good SS, But I think that Lorraine would be a better fielder than Bullard and Loraine may not have a better bat but defense is more crucial in AOWs challenge I think

LOL wow, crazy amount of switch hitters there. Blues too! nicely done man. Got the power 1Bs and 3Bs, and even C/SS with almost all Ds. See it almost makes up for no Bs and As, when so many guys are well-rounded.

If you are doing fielding manually, then its a big question…I'd still probably go Lorraine. arm/fld, gold glove ability adds a lot, and then the lefty bat too. Rotate them in and out depending on form, but Lorraine gets the 60% chunk IMO.

What I usually do is find 2 good SS, because they're better than 2B in most cases, and play 1 SS at 2B and 1 at SS, so you could do that dish

Thanks, AOW! Didn't realize I had that many switchies until I started making this list, lol. I think I did about 4 or 5 cycles to get the players I wanted. Might be too many, but I think I got a good team out of it.

Yeah, I'm doing fielding manually. And, I agree that Lorraine might be a good option for 60% of the time. One thing I could consider is running a super-platoon sort of thing, playing Lorraine against righties and Bullard against lefties, or just switching them out every 3rd game or so.

I'm gonna try that setup out in fielding practice, see how that goes. I might consider doing that, as well.

AAA team in the next post!

I'd like Reid and Ransom if you're doing agents, definitely going to be following this either way :)

Sorry for DP, but I totally forgot to mention the stadiums the teams will play in! Silly me!

The Sharks will play at GoldenApples Stadium, while the Tropics will play at Rainbow Beach Stadium.
