young guys? Dillon was 33, Ruggiano 26, Vazquez 32. Backe was 30, Geary 32, and Chacon 31. It's not that far off.

all three of those guys are relievers, are you confident they bolstered the team a lot?

Backe is a starter, and is doing quite well. Chacon is doing fantastic, but Geary has had limited appearances. And I guess Ruggiano and Dillon aren't that young after all. I should've looked that up.

Pierzynski drove in another run on a ground out, giving the Sox a 3-1 lead. In the next inning, Orlando Cabrera hit a home run to left. Later in the seventh, Swisher drove in a run with a double to deep center. Bobby Jenks sealed a 5-1 White Sox victory.

Me: Alright, guys. We're on the clock. This draft class isn't that strong, but there is a player with 5-star potential. Joe Pickler is his name. He plays center, but we can move him to right if we need to. What do you think, Hirohito?

Hirohito: It's worth a go. We can always keep him in AAA and use him as trade bait.

Me: Oh shit. We have too many guys on our roster. We can't pick!

In my first major mistake as GM, I forgot to clear room before the draft.

Pittsburgh offered me a deal. I would get Zach Duke, who is 4-3 with a 3.88 ERA, and they would get Bobby Jenks, who is 0-5 with a 6.87 ERA, but has 13 saves in 15 opportunities.

We decided that we could use Duchscherer as our closer, and we could add Duke to the rotation. We accepted the trade.

We faced the first-place Indians to start off a big home series.

Cleveland Indians 46-37 @ Chicago White Sox 39-43

Johnny Peralta hit a two-run homer in the fourth, giving Cleveland a 2-0 lead. In the seventh, Garko homered, giving Cleveland a 3-0 lead. In the bottom half of that inning, Denham doubled to drive in a run. Pierzynski drove Denham in after. Crede hit a game-tying double, driving in Pierzynski. Sizemore stunned the Sox in the 8th by hitting a solo shot to left. The White Sox were thrifty on the base paths, causing a Cleveland error that allowed the tying run. Joe Crede won the game with a sac fly to center.

W- Chacon 3-0
L- Betancourt 0-2
HR- Sizemore 17
Peralta 13
Garko 10

Hirayama 1-4

AL CENTRAL STANDINGS/ANALYSIS

1. Cleveland Indians 46-38
The Indians are still on top of the division, and don't seem to be slowing down.

2. Kansas City Royals 45-39
The Royals are still surprisingly hanging in there, and may be able to contend for at least a Wild Card spot.

3. Detroit Tigers 43-40
Detroit has gotten it back together, and are contending for the division again.

4. Chicago White Sox 40-43
The White Sox have dropped in terms of quality, but one great month can fix it all.

5. Minnesota Twins 37-45
It's time to throw in the towel for the Twins.

Current Prediction:
Indians 95-67
Tigers 89-73
Royals 86-76
White Sox 78-84
Twins 68-94

Honestly, you should get rid of Contreras. In my opinion, he is the worst starter in the game
