What was your reaction to that Walk-off HR in the ALCS?

I'd like to see a video of it. I know when I hit those two walk-offs in my log I got pretty excited.

Spring Training - 2014

The Kansas City Royals come into spring training this season with a few veterans missing, but no one really new. Kelvim Escobar, Gil Meche, and Joel Peralta were all turned away from new contracts following the 2013 season. Since the Royals did not sign anyone new, some players like Kyle Davies and Joakim Soria have stepped into veteran leader roles on this team. It will be up to these leaders to mentor and guide the rookies as the Royals chase another postseason berth with a much younger team. Royals hitters this spring training are mainly working on pop and power to increase the runs scored this season. Pitchers have been working on their stamina with several of them competing for two open starting pitcher spots. Daniel Barden, Luis Camacaro, and Rico Oliveros are among those trying to earn those spots. As spring training games begin, these guys will be able to show what they got and that they deserve to be starting pitchers in the major leagues.

The time has come. I have decided to officially end this season log. I am making this decision for a couple of reasons. I actually got an Xbox 360 this past Christmas, and I've been playing only that since then. I've really had no desire to pull out the old Wii and play, which is really sad for me because I've had my Wii since the day it came out back in 2006 and had been playing it regularly for over five years. That last part kind of has to do with the second reason why I've decided to end this log. My Wii IS over five years old, and as of late has been showing signs that it is near the end of its life. It makes weird noises, and often just fails to read the discs I put in. I don't want to get too far into a season with this and have my Wii just die for good and not be able to finish what I started.

This log has been a lot of fun to play and will definitely miss all the spectacular games and plays I've made with this team that I've been able to share with all of you. In the six years of this franchise, the Royals managed to have four winning record seasons and win the World Series twice: 2011 against the Marlins, and 2013 against the Phillies. I'll never forget such moments as Khalil Greene's come-from-behind grand slam that led the Royals to a series victory in the 2010 divisional series, highly anticipated prospect Christ Conti blasting a home run to right in his first major league at-bat on opening day of 2011, and of course Mark Teahen's come-from-behind walk-off two run homer in game seven of the 2013 ALCS to send the Royals to the World Series where they would go on to win. There were countless other great memories, including plenty of unlikely comeback wins. It has been a blast to play this season mode and I hope all of you have enjoyed reading in both the failures and successes of this team over the past six seasons.

ChiCubsFan4 : My Wii had the same problem, but I was able to fix it myself. There are some great youtube videos that will show you how to take your wii apart and what to do to get the buzzing noise to stop. You are going to need some specialty screwdrivers which you can get here on Amazon for like $6: http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Screwdri ... 387&sr=8-7

Hope this helps.
