Hey guys just wondering what your thoughts are about the best pitching you would have on your team without editing or created characters.

Starters

1. Doc
2. Santana
3. Webb
4. C.C.
5. Peavy
6. King Felix

Long Relief

1. Bedard

Middle Relief

1. Shields
2. ??

Lefty

1. Guy from Boston Ojiwina or whatever his name is.

Set Up Man

1. Rivera

Closer

1. K Rod..

You can put closers as set up man too.

I think we will all agree K-Rod is the best closer in the game. I'll post my picks later when I'm playing PP.

Zack Duke (Pirates) is almost always a steal. ERA under 4.00 90% of the time.

Not talking steal.. Talking overall best. If you could hand pick who would you take.

C.C. Sabathia is definitely one of the best. So is Aaron Harang.

Well I meant you can always trade for him if you have a hole in your rotation
Also, Aaron Cook (Rockies) is also very good. In MyLife mode he has a 1.26 ERA

Also, many pitchers that look like they have great ratings commonly have ERAs over 4.00

examples: John Lackey (over 5.00 two years in a row), Paul Maholm, Cole Hamels, A.J. Burnett (consistently among the worst ERA's every year), etc.

Don't forget Carlos Zambrano and Dice-K.

I was just about to say something about Dice-K. I've faced him a few times in my Rays season mode, and I cannot hit him.

It's his pitching form. It throws me off.

Pedro and Orlando Hernandez.

I agree on the Aaron Harang thing.

He ALWAYS puts up huge numbers w/ ERA and Strikeouts. Put him on a good team and he gets mass Wins too.

Webb is one of those pitchers who looks great on paper but then does terrible during the season.

Eric Gange is a great set up man.

I think Broxton is pretty solid.
