Some of these players have turned around like Fransisco, and also Coloramino has brought up his AVG up 36 points since july 1. Brady had an absolutly amazing month to make him a candadite for ROTY. Although quentin is a concern because since his torrid pace from april to june, his stats have been around the same and he only had 2 homers in july, although his stats are still solid and he has another 2 months to bring his stats up. It'll be fun to see if Brady or Jackson can hit 30 homers and if Griffiths can finish over .300 and being the only AL catcher, (besides the league AVG leader mauer), to hit over .300

Smoke @ Eagles
In the first visit, the Eagles beat the Smoke 2-1 at rainbow beach park. The Smokes starter, Villamil, went 7.2 innings and let up 1 run(I couldnt hit him, he had the pink face and his only pitch was a level 3 curveball which I couldnt hit. McDaniel, the Eagles starter, went the distance in a 9 inning 1 run Complete game. In the bottomg of the 9th and the score tied at one with alcheves at second. Stewart hit a single up to middle to win the first expansion team matchup.

Here's some info if and when you go to FA signing:
Try to sign the best players possible, to try to get some more wins next year, also mix it up by picking lesser known players. That'll help you a lot in FA.

Thanks for the help on F/A but I still got another month but thanks to a terrible ausgust, the angels already won the division. my players combined to hit like 8 homeruns in the month and griffiths is down to .278, and noones batting over .300 as of now except alcheves. I mean, my players did so bad in the month, that someone on the Smoke actually won ROTM. I called up alot of players but the ones I remember for now are brett carroll,a pitcher or 2, solano(C), oliver(1b) and I think another 2b. I remember my rein of terror of winning in my other file started when I got Pujols and Holliday

Wayne Vs Daniel Cabrera
The Eagles won their last game of the season with a 7-6 win over the Orioles, whom they won against on opening day. Jackson went 3-4 while Alcheves got his 200th hit of the year and after Brady's somewhat of a collapse, is likely to get ROTY. It was 7-4 in the 9th when the O's came back to make it 7-6 but McMillan retired to end the season for the eagles and get the save

Season In Review
The E's fell apart in the last 2 months, their offense disappered and players like brady, griffiths and jackson couldnt hit well in the last month and quentin fell apart and didn't have the season people thought he was going to have. the Eagles dominated the first few months but the angels took control after. On the pitching side, Zadan was thought to be the ace when pena didn't do well and when nixon fell apart. James started off well, but went on to have a 6.08 ERA, he is likely to be traded. Pitchers Senreiso and Hessman were great int their bullpen roles but were underrated, Senreiso,a righty, had a 1.23 ERA going into august but had his ERA slip to a still solid 3.59 ERA, Hessman, a lefty, had a 3.22 ERA and both pitchers did a solid job setting up McMillan who had 34 saves and a 2.97 ERA. The bullpen besides that wasn't great besides massett doing a good job and ended the season with a 4.77 ERA. The Eagles will look for pitching this offseason for the bullpen due to their lack of money. Massett, Hessman, Senreiso, and McMillan are the only bullpen locks for next year. All together this was a memorable year that with a team that carried a rather potent offense and at teams were unhittable with their pitching. The hitting and pitching stats will be posted up soon

So, what was the final record for the E's?

79-83, thats not bad for an expansion team, And here are the playoff rounds

Cubs and brewers are both making it to the playoffs but are tied and will have a tiebreaker to decide over the Division Champ and Wild Card
