BOCHY VOICES DISPLEASURNESS ON ERRORS

After 2 errors that go right under the legs of Sandoval and Inge, both of which allowed runs, Bochy had then stick around for after the game to do extra infield practice, 2 hours of it.

Those kinds of errors are inexcuseable

said Bruce Bochy

Bittner gave up 3 runs in 5IP, 2 runs were unearned.

The Giants got the win, 3-2 on a sac fly walk-off by Inge.

GIANTS UNLUCKY ON DRAFT DAY

The Giants grabbed 2B Zerbe in the first round, but in the second round... Their top pitching prospect, Caicedo went to the Diamondbacks... Then their other top prospect, Pote, went to the Athletics and the Giants had to settle for 25 year old, Thrower.

Zerbe:
Trj: 2
Con: F+
Pwr F
Spd: F+
Arm: E
FLD: E+
E Res: F+
Overall, I probably should have taken Pote or Caicedo in the first round, but this kid was only 19 and we have a ton of pitching prospects too. He also has Error Prone.

Thrower:
L/L
93MPH
Stam: C
Ctrl: D
Sld: 3
CB: 3

He is 25, but is serviceable. Could be ready for the majors by next year, unfortunately is very raw.

The Giants are also looking at UFA Hankins, who is similar to Thrower but younger.

@ Me_and_Lucy, You really think so?

GIANTS MAKE A MOVE FOR THE PITCHING STAFF

The Giants shipped struggling set-up man Bob Howry and AAA pitcher Brandon Fahey to Detroit for starter Jordan Tata, Gary Glover, and Juan Rincon. Glover and Rincon are expected to be called up immediately. All three's contract is up this year, and Rincon can declare FA

Giants get:
Tata
Glover
Rincon

Tigers get:
Howry
Fahey
5000

good trade.
howry's on the decline too, all his breaking pitches and stamina went down after 1 season.

DrMario: Yes, I think so. I like the attitude of that :) And it is kinda funny too. Seldom you see a pitcher pitch 10 innings. I think the last one that did that was Halladay.

Good trade, Rincon could be used for trade bait for the prospects you want. I kinda like his delivery.

Personally, I like Greg Aquino's delivery.
And Pat Neshek's (watch his feet!)

I'm glad you like it.

Haha, you are right, but Matt Cain had a 10inning no-hitter (in my first year)

Yeah Rincon has a 2.45 ERA and has a nasty slider, and he could be used for trade bait, although I don't really need anything in particular.

Tata has had 2 swing role starts this year and got a little rocked with 4 ER in 5IP but he threw a 9 inning CG shutout last start.

I am actually thinking of getting Pat Neshek although it's unlikely.

Mike Gonzalez's delivery is the best!

I like 3-quarters 25, and Pat Neshek's.

On-topic: I hope you can make it to the playoffs.

I like Orlando Hernandez's and Dontrelle Willis's.

Personally, I would try to trade Rincon for an upgrade somewhere, but if you don't have any needs then you won't have a problem.

Peavy is my favorite. By the way, why not trade for Peavy.

He can just wait until the end of the season and sign Peavy as a free agent. (I think)

I wish they had Ryan Dempster's motion. All that glove flip-flopping would make any hitter dizzy. :)

There actually is a stance like Dempster's
one of my pitcher's uses it for success mode :P
