Does anyone ever skip week 3 to get two chances of super boost practice in week 4?

I always do that. And I S/L until I get 5 oks in week 4 practice.

yes, that's a good strategy. but sometimes it just gets so frustrating when you get 4 OK's and the 5th one spins to XX's or you get all xx's

I was wondering that. Does super boost week 4 give you less chance of getting OK cards?

Im not sure if week 4 reduces the chances of getting all 5 oks.. but...

The fustrating part of S/L during week 4 is whenever you don't get all 5 oks.. you can't immediately quit and load because you got a game on week 1.. which is so time consuming.. :x

Maybe that's why they made it week 4.

So Konami doesn't like the overuse of S/L??

I'll admit it might be "cheating" for a bit (if anyone considers it cheating..) but i think S/L adds to the excitement.. especially when you're looking foward to Dr. Goodjob.. :P

It's pretty obvious that S/L is cheating the game.. But that's your choice if that makes the game more fun for you.. And Konami has 'attempted' to make it as difficult as possible without ruining the game.. (Wk 4 Practices before games; Save and Exit so you have to reload without just saving) However I don't get how that could add excitement.. If you have an event pop up and you haven't saved, wouldn't that be a more intense, exciting moment than knowing you can/will just exit and try again?

Well I don't know for you guys but... :)

For me, every time i S/L and finally receive a gamblers ring from the surprise bag (after 20-30 mins) or suddenly meet Dr. Goodjob because of S/L to get 5 OKs on week 4.. I was always feel like "YEEEBAAAHH!!" and this kind of stuff makes me keep playing the game..

It's like all the hard work has finally paid off.. :D

Well, I can understand why some people don't find S/L fun.. It gets discouraging at some point.. Like my brother (he doesn't even reload when he gets injured... says it's "part" of the game and he didn't save the week before..)

Newbie question: What is S/L?

Tried Success for the very first time last night. As a center fielder, I went all the way to the game against Sittch but got killed by his ridiculous pitches.

Good thing I saved the game right after I was promoted to AAA. I will give it another try tonight.

Thanks. I guess I will start using that more often, much more often.
