I'm not sure, but I think I am sort of an oddball in this community. While there might be a number of reasons for that, what I mean is that I play season mode, and that is pretty much it. Most everyone else makes players, so they may have different insights.

I picked up Orlando Hudson, so my 2B right now has an A or B arm strength, which is AMAZING! I would say E is the minimum, 8/9 the standard. If he had a 10, I'd consider making him a SS if his FLD was also a C or more.

In my mind, a solid 2b is C fielding, D arm, D or above errors
SS: 10-11 arm, 11-13 FLD, D or higher errors.

What do you mean that 14 is the max for players?

It seems that from what I have read, players don't typically get 15 ratings because that is just too good, so the best players get 14.
