I'm kind of on mittens' side, last year there was almost 80 posts per day in the summer, and people still talked about Power Pros and posted in other people's logs. 5 posts per day in the "What are you listening to" thread is kind of ridiculous.

in all seriousness though this site's OBVIOUSLY not going to die considering that we've had this core group of regulars for like the past two years and no one seems to make any moves that indicate they want to leave. I don't stay here anymore because I want to discuss the got dam Power Pros 2008 Game, I stay here because I've actually grown attached to the community here and it would be legitimately difficult for me to try to leave. I may not post as much anymore but I still look in at least once a day and go through the majority of the new posts.

if you, a new member, can't separate the actual forum from whatever delusions you've created as to what this forum should be then you're not gonna make it very long

Off-topic: My mind is blown by the fact that Mac is only 16. I thought you were turning 17-18 this year. WHOOPSIE! Guess I thought he was the same age as me, if not older. not sure why i thought that, it's not like you're very mature or anything...

As Skittles said, the chat should be removed from the home page. And obviously if people are posting in the chat and updating logs and creating players, this forum's not going to die anytime soon. The only reason I would stop visiting would be if I ran into some huge time commitment and simply couldn't keep up, but that's unlikely.

If I was ever going to leave, it probably would have been a year or two ago, since that's when I really noticed the place going quickly downhill. But I can't now, where else am I going to promote my random crap no one even cares about anyway?

It seems like about the time that Skittles, Anthony, Liam, and I joined that forum started becoming more active.

Liam is gone though, and Anthony rarely visits. But there are still Skittles and I who have combined for about 14,000 posts. Which is a lot.

Yeah, I agree with the majority of what's being said. However, I feel that the chat is OK where it's at, but that's just my opinion. The chat doesn't need to go (and frankly, we haven't had a working chat function other than the GCT in, like, 4 or 5 years before the new chat.)

I obviously don't plan on leaving, in fact, I'll probably stay around til the very end of the site (which is what I did for SimYard, even though I got a lot of flack for that). That's even with college and work (thank god it's a regular 7a-3:30p job) taking up a lot of my free time. I also feel attached to this community, like mac said, and I don't know where else I would go to interact with people who share the same obscure interest as me (Power Pros). Obviously, if I get a professional career (hoping to get into the broadcasting field in the future), I may be around a little bit less, but I'll still remember this community, even though I will have moved on in my life.
