also: the race between myself and dishnet34 to get to 10000 posts next will be interesting. based on my calculations and our overall posts/day ratios, it would take the two of us about a year to get there, with dish coming in around 335 days and me around 370.

also: kilian is right that 10000 is so aesthetically pleasing

Ok, I'm finally gonna say this so the rest of the forum can see. LGM and I really don't dislike each other. We're actually really good friends, but we just mess with each other in front of everyone for the entertainment of the forum. I feel like our messing around was finally starting to get out of hand and people might have thought we were being serious. I'd just like to let everyone know, it's all in fun, LGM and I are best friends.

Just to have 30,000 posts in this thread. This is a meaningless post. Anyway the Phillies are trash. The NL East is trash which means the Nats will probably win 100 some games The Mets might get to 90 wins. Marlins will be trash with no Jose Fernandez, Braves are sweatshirt and can give you cancer/ The Phils could even get third in that division. Also RIP NL Central with Cubs(Cubs lose 2017 WS) and Cards with Pirates, Brewers, and Reds to lose 90 some games. i predict about 280 losses between them. NL West will be Giants and Dodgers, but watch out for Rockies. Giants win here AL East looks to be competitive. All teams could have a chance and even watch out for the Rays as they will probably be better. Red Sox will come in second, Watch out for Toronto even though we all know the Yanks will win. AL Central will not be that competitive, but watch out for Royals and Tigers, but Indians will prob win that division. AL West will go to Los Angeles Angels, Pujols goes full Papi, 40 HRs and 130 RBIs. Win WS with Trout catching 60 HRs. My predictions will all be true.

I played my friend in PP08 today. His first time playing, so I let him use the AL All-Star arrange team I have (Sale/Kluber pitching, Altuve, Machado, etc.) and played with my worst arrange team, my in-progress MSC team (they have 3 placeholder fielders and only 3 fielders, one of whom ended up starting at SS and batting 7th). We went back and forth for 13 innings in a true pitching duel before I finally walked it off in the bottom of the 13th with a single to score the first run of the game. My starting pitcher (Simon Young) tossed 12 shutout innings with I believe 19 strikeouts, Pete Grossman scored the winning run, Nate Gray had the walk-off hit, Jayson McDougal pitched a perfect 13th with 2 strikeouts... Of course, he beat me in just about every other game we played (twice in FIFA, plus twice in a round of Wii Sports playing each game once -- he won tennis, baseball, and golf each time, although I smoked him in bowling a total of four times and KO'd him in boxing twice), but nonetheless, a very fun experience.
