MLB Power Pros Wiki editing is resuming

With the release of MLB Power Pros 2008, we had to shut off the functionality of Wiki editing for the purpose of keeping track of data pertaining to the 2007 release and this new one, so old data wouldn't get deleted and new data wouldn't be lost.
Now that it's out and a lot of us have been playing it a lot, the management team feels it's time to resume wiki editing procedures. The wiki is open and ready for editing for 2008! However, we have a few points to make to you before we open the floodgates.
FIRST! Every NEW page created must have the year in the suffix. For example, if you are adding a page about Sittch, your page name must be Sittch_2008. New pages about the 2007 game not already posted must also follow the new format. DON'T change the old pages (we'll do that eventually as we condense and sort pages and find lonely pages that never got linked). Also please type [[Category: MLB Power Pros 2008]] at the end of each new 2008 page (use [[Category: MLB Power Pros 2007]] if it's a 2007 page) on its own line to further separate the two games.
In addition, please use the underscore (_) character in the title instead of the space. This cleans up the URL for all pages (we don't have to see that darned %20 everywhere) and makes page locating and linking much easier. Example: World_Gatherings_2007 is much easier to read than World%20Gatherings%202007.

As you can see with the updates to the site, we are trying to get all of the software up to date so we can use the more advanced features in the forums and the wiki. With the latest updates, we have tied your Forum account to the wiki. You just have to enable editing rights yourself. This page will instruct you how to give yourself editing rights.
